USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program
This free nutrition program helps to ensure that children receive healthy, nutritious meals while they are in care. It also provides training, information and support to child care providers, and is available to any regulated family child care provider in all 50 states. The Childcare Network service area includes Planning District 16 and many surrounding cities and counties.
No fee is charged to providers for participating in the USDA CACFP. All agency programs are available to all without regard to race, color, sex, national origin, age or disability. All meals served to children under the CACFP are free. There is no discrimination in admissions policy, meal service or the use of facilities. Any complaints of discrimination should be submitted in writing to: Administrator, Food and Nutrition Service, USDA, Park Office Center, Alexandria, VA 22302.
