Mary E. McGhee-Pasternak is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Resources, PC. Ms. McGhee-Pasternak provides counseling services, education and training groups, conducts assessments and psychological evaluations, and facilitates public awareness seminars on child sexual abuse. She also treats a wide range of mental health problems, such as post traumatic stress disorders, depression and anxiety. As an advocate for play, she has given many speeches and conducted workshops on play theory and play therapy to professionals, parents and the public over the past 10 years.
The Importance of Play for Every Child
Play is a child's work and has an important role in all aspects of a child's development. What can we do to help children play? What can we learn from observing children at play?

Register prior to May 18, 2009, and the registration fees are $25 for those who live or work in a child care program in Stafford or Spotsylvania County and $55 for all others. After May 18, online registration goes up to $60 for everyone. Walk-in registration is $70.
Registrations will be confirmed by email or phone. Registration fee includes: all training materials; AM refreshments; box lunch; tote bag and a certificate for 6.5 hours of training (3 additional hours available).
NO REFUNDS - Registration is transferable with notice. Returned check fee is $25.
